Outline planning application
A series of 'Parameter Plans' have been submitted and these represent the results of a co-ordinated consultation between Cambridge City Council, Cambridgeshire County Council, Cambridgeshire Horizons, Countryside Properties, local interest groups, the local population and various other professionals involved in the design process. These comprise the fixed application plans for which Countryside Properties is seeking outline planning permission. Two sets of Parameter Plans have been submitted as part of the amendments made to the application in December 2007. The first show the 'Development Proposal' and the second propose a 'Fallback Scheme' should the secondary school not go ahead. This is explained in full in the Planning Statement.
An illustrative masterplan sets out some key principles and shows one way in which the site could potentially be developed. However it is not fixed and will be subject to change on submission of detailed Reserved Matters applications.
